The UK Regulators Network have renewed Sharon Darcy’s appointment to the expert advisors’ panel, which also consists of Chris Bolt, Catherine Waddams and James Wardlaw. Sharon Darcy’s contract renewal is effective immediately for a two-year period, until July 2019.<\/p>\n

The UK Regulators Network expert advisors provide review and challenge for our work. In particular, the panel:<\/p>\n

\n
• Provides a cross-sector voice to UKRN independent of any sectoral interest<\/li>\n
• Acts as critical friend to UKRN, including to identify opportunities for optimal cross-sector working<\/li>\n
• Encourages regulators to ensure that cross-sector outcomes are reflected in decision-making for each sector, particularly considering the need both to protect consumers and create a positive environment for efficient investment<\/li>\n
• Promotes and supports an ambitious agenda of joint work<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
