The discussion focused on the demand for investment in UK infrastructure; the role and value of independent regulation; the importance of trust, stewardship and legitimacy in the regulatory system; the need for fairness and protection for vulnerable consumers; and future common challenges for investors, infrastructure owners and regulators including decarbonisation and Net Zero targets.<\/p>\n
